The Instructor Workshop

"By 2014, the United States will need 29 percent more HVACR and 21 percent more plumbing technicians, or more than 100,000 skilled workers to perform these important jobs, which cannot be outsourced overseas."

For more than a decade, the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute has sponsored an annual instructor workshop to enhance the skills and knowledge of HVACR instructors. In 2008, AHRI partnered with nine other organizations to host its most successful workshop ever. The event attracted more than 300 attendees and more than 40 exhibitors.

Who Should Attend

The workshop is designed for HVACR and plumbing instructors, administrators, and counselors in secondary, post-secondary, proprietary programs, as well as HVACR and plumbing apprentice programs.

Why Attend

This three-day workshop provides participants with the opportunity to attend numerous technical sessions covering the hottest topics and latest advancements in the HVACR and plumbing trade.

A diverse mix of educational sessions give instructors a choice of what to attend, and the exhibits and roundtables give participants time to interact with manufacturers, industry experts and other instructors to network and share information.

How to Attend

The 14th Annual Instructor Workshop will be held on March 11-13, 2009 at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne, Virginia.
